I find landscape photography a difficult genre to master, but very rewarding when it happens. Most of my landscape pictures show little or no human presence, and even though I do not always consciously striving to make the pictures devoid of human influence, I think the best ones often are.
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods:
There is a rapture on the lonely shore:
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...
