This post is an homage to the photographers who take time to video blog (vlog) in order to help amateurs like myself learn the craft. In my experience finding quality photographer video bloggers is no easy task; there is a plethora of bloggers, but personally I think the really interesting ones with consistent quality are few and far between.
I prefer the Youtube channels that mostly deals with making great photos rather than gear reviews, but below you will find both types. I plan to expand and edit this list from time to time, so check back again for more inspiration.
Probably my favorite among the photographers I follow on Youtube. His vlog is mostly about landscape photography. I watch his videos not only for the tips on technique and composition, but also for the great tour of the locations you get.
Does large format landscape photography. Like Heaton he is a good narrator and his videos give you great insight into the process of finding a good composition.
So far his channel only has a handful of videos but they are very inspiring and well produced.
Channel by Ted Forbes with a lot of great content. I especially enjoy his essays on some of the greatest minds in photography.
